What does digital mean to you? I ask because the Karel Dörner and David Edelman of McKinsey article cites “… technology [or] … digital is a new way of engaging with customers [or] … it represents an entirely new way of doing business”
Both go on to say these definitions aren’t necessarily incorrect, however incomplete.
I was reminded their point of view when I saw an update on my LinkedIn stream – a contact reposted an update where an agency was seeking a new account executive.
I’ve spared the blushes.
So a link to the agency website has no mention of the new role – no expanded commentary and no opportunity to demonstrate how they view digital within their business.
